Fitness, exercise, and sport have been a central part of my life since I can remember. Despite being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at age 5, I participated in all sports, ranging from rugby to tennis, swimming and even a few triathlons in high school.
My passion for exercise was born through the benefits it yields both short term (positive energy, optimism, satisfaction) and long term (longevity, improved quality of life, etc.). After several years I decided to develop this passion further to help others, and hopefully grow within them a passion for exercise and wellbeing.
I have now been a personal trainer for 2 years of which i have enjoyed working with people from all walks of life: general population, athletes (young and masters alike) and young kids. I have also recently completed an internship at Mike Boyle Strength & Conditioning in Boston Massachusetts, where i worked under and alongside some of the biggest and best names in the fitness industry.
My aim is to continue to help others – now via education with the podcast. I believe that knowledge is power, and if people have the right information and the assistance in applying it they can help themselves to lead a happier, healthier life.
